The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne are recruiting for a
Night Porter – 45 Hours Per Week
to join our nights team on a part‑time basis, fixed term of six months
Night Porter Overview
You will be working as a Night Porter with a wide range of responsibilities, such as:
- Welcoming late arriving guests and escorting them to their rooms;
- Assisting guests with luggage
- Providing advice on hotel facilities as well as local places of interest
- Valet parking cars
- Preparing snacks and serving food and drinks.
Please note this is a night time role working 9 hours 8pm and 7.30am, 5 days out of seven. You may be required to work weekends.
Night Porter Key Attributes
- Clean, valid UK driving licence preferred.
- Possess a welcoming personality to make the Grand Hotel an experience to remember, whilst retaining the ability to be assertive when required.
- Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written.
- Be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required.
- You will have already gained experience within the hospitality or customer service industry.
