Food & Beverage Overview:
To carry out table service of the Restaurant department, maintaining the maximum quality of standards required to ensure optimum guest satisfaction. Looking for a team member to join our team to ensure that guests are greeted with a smile and start the day with the level of service they can expect for the rest of their stay. You will work with the Breakfast team and make our guests feel welcomed and taken care of right from the start of the day. Reporting to the department manager, you will help ensure all food service runs smoothly and efficiently. You will also ensure our guests are served to the highest standards and endeavour to make every meal an occasion for its guests.
Food and Beverage Key Responsibilities:
- To assist with the service of food and beverages, ensuring the 4 Red Star and 2 Rosette standard is maintained
- To be familiar with and understand the day’s menus.
- Lay up tables for the restaurant as directed.
- To check and prepare mise en place for each meal service.
- Correctly handle, store, and clean all food service equipment as detailed on the work plans.
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Be enthusiastic, presentable and enjoy working as part of a team
- Previous waiting experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be given
- Bar experience is also desirable, but again, not essential
