The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne are recruiting for a Painter/Decorator to join our Maintenance team part-time, 24 hours per week over four days.
When you join us, you will be required to assist in the main hotel with painting and maintenance work, including preventative and reactive work within the hotel bedrooms and public areas. You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, carrying out other ad hoc maintenance tasks. You will be working within the multi-skilled Maintenance team and whilst this will be your main responsibility, you will have the support of the rest of the team.
This is a part-time role, working 24 hours, four days per week, 8.30am β 2.30pm. The role may suit someone having recently qualified as a painter/decorator looking to get some experience and foot in the door. Interview may include a work trial.
What we need from you:
- Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating
- Be competent at achieving a high standard of finish
- Be able to work to high standards with minimal supervision
- General Maintenance experience ideally within a customer service environment
- Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written.
