The primary focus of the role will be ensuring the smooth running of the cocktail bar; ensuring all stock is up-to-date, the area is well presented, and guests receive a high standard of service. You will also support the wider Food and Beverage Team, covering service in the Lounges and Restaurants as required. You will work with the F&B Managers in developing seasonal cocktails and bar promotions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the bar and adjoining areas.
• Handle cash transactions correctly, including signed bills and Restaurant transfers.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to residents and non-residents.
• Understand Licensing Laws, including rights of refusal.
• Monitor costs and revenue within the department.
• Maintain a broad knowledge of mixed drinks.
• Promote the hotel\’s image as a Sales Person.

Bar Person Key Attributes

• Knowledge of cocktail preparation and UK Licensing regulations; a personal license is an advantage but not essential.
• Previous experience in a hotel bar with high service standards preferred.
• Excellent command of English and right to work in the UK.
• Well-presented appearance.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer care.
