The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 ÂŁ per hour.
Based in our luxurious Forest Spa you will be providing a range of luxury treatments to hotel residents, spa day guests and members. We are looking for a therapist to work flexibly on a casual basis. Hours offered can be week day and at weekends. We are proud to partner with Oskia and Ishga, two advanced luxury skincare brands. We offer a wide range of treatments including manicures, pedicures, facials, body scrubs and various types of massage treatments. We seek to limit the amount of massage allocated to each therapist. We are also able to offer training and development opportunities such as “no hands” massage, Hot stone, LAVA shell, Sports, Indian Head and pregnancy massages. Some experience is ideal but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain standards of service and hygiene as directed by the Salon Manager and Health Club Manager.
- To provide a full range of beauty treatments for male and female clients, available within Salon opening hours.
- To provide Reception cover when required – duties to include answering the telephone, booking appointments, and cash procedures.
- Serving of beverages as required in the Salon.
- Prioritise Guest confidentiality and wellbeing at all times.
- To act as a Sales Person, promoting the image of the Hotel at all times.
Spa Therapist Key Attributes
- Passion for delivering great customer service and memorable treatments.
- A can-do approach to your work.
- Wanting to go that extra mile to have your guests leaving with an experience to talk about.
- Must have equivalent to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy, including massage therapies.
- Your personality is really important too, as you will be greeting guests and putting them at ease – so you must be comfortable talking to a wide range of people.
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are also key.
