About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated NDT Technician to join our quality and inspection team in Belfast. The successful candidate will perform a range of non-destructive tests on components and structures to ensure they meet required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out non-destructive testing (NDT) on materials and components using approved methods (e.g., ultrasonic, visual, magnetic particle, dye penetrant).
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
  • Inspect parts and interpret test results accurately.
  • Prepare and issue detailed inspection reports and documentation.
  • Follow written procedures and quality standards.
  • Work on varied projects, potentially at multiple client sites across the UK.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • PCN Level 2 Certification in NDT (Ultrasonic preferred) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years’ NDT experience in an industrial or inspection role.
  • Strong understanding of welding defects and interpretation of test data.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Desirable

  • Experience with additional NDT methods (e.g., eddy current, radiographic testing).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
