Elitehire Solutions are working with a well-established, medium-sized and growing M&E contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team based in Warwick. This is an excellent opportunity to join a solid business with a strong pipeline of work and genuine room for progression as the company continues to grow. The contractor delivers a range of commercial electrical projects, covering both new-build and refurbishment schemes across the Midlands.

The Role

As Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for electrical projects from initial enquiry through to submission. Duties will include:

  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Preparing detailed electrical estimates and tenders
  • Producing take-offs and material schedules
  • Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and the wider project team
  • Attending tender meetings and site visits where required
  • Supporting handover of secured projects to the delivery team
  • Managing multiple tenders across commercial new-build and refurbishment projects

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an Electrical Estimator
  • Strong background within the electrical contracting / M&E sector
  • Experience estimating commercial projects
  • Experience across both new-build and refurbishment schemes advantageous
  • Good understanding of electrical drawings and specifications
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Confident communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider estimating team
