Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 DOE + Vehicle + Overtime

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing HVAC business. This is a hands-on position that combines service, maintenance and fault-finding duties with responsibility for supporting and coordinating a team of engineers. The role would suit a strong Air Conditioning Engineer looking to step into a leadership role while remaining technically involved.

The Role

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, heat pumps and chillers.
  • Attending reactive breakdowns and providing technical support.
  • Assisting with commissioning and handover of new installations.
  • Producing service reports and recommendations.
  • Conducting site surveys and equipment condition assessments.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices.
  • Assisting with scheduling and coordination of engineering activities.
  • Liaising with clients and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry.
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Refrigeration.
