A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their delivery team. The business delivers commercial and industrial building services projects across the Midlands, working on a mix of refurbishments and new-build schemes, with project values typically ranging from £500k to £5m.

The Role: You will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical packages from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, and within budget. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction to completion
  • Planning programmes, labour, and procurement
  • Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Managing cost control, variations, and progress reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with H&S, quality, and technical standards
  • Attending client and site meetings and managing key stakeholders
  • Supporting commissioning, snagging, and handover

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services
  • Background delivering commercial and/or industrial projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • SMSTS / CSCS (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
