We are looking for an experienced Projects Engineer to join a busy mechanical contractor working on projects across the UK, including schools, hospitals and residential projects. This is a varied role involving both project/site management and hands-on mechanical work.
The Role:
- Assist with managing projects from start to finish.
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager and site teams.
- Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress.
- Manage workmanship, quality and site activities.
- Liaise with clients and contractors.
- Carry out site visits and surveys.
- Assist with project planning and programmes.
- Support commissioning and handover.
- Manage snagging and defects through to completion.
- Ensure RAMS, health and safety compliance.
