A well-established, family-run Electrical contractor is looking to appoint a Junior Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of projects across the Midlands. This role is ideal for someone looking to step up from a Supervisor, Site Manager, or Assistant Project Manager position and develop a long-term career in electrical project management. Projects include commercial and retail refurbishments, working with an experienced management team who will provide training and support.

The Role

  • You will work alongside Senior Project and Contracts Managers, gaining hands‑on experience across all stages of project delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the management of electrical projects from pre‑start through to completion
  • Assisting with programme planning, labour coordination, and procurement
  • Attending site meetings and liaising with clients, main contractors, and suppliers
  • Monitoring progress, quality, and health & safety on site
  • Supporting variations, valuations, and project reporting
  • Assisting with handover, testing, and final documentation

Requirements

  • Background in electrical installation or site management
  • Experience on commercial and/or retail projects
  • Keen to progress into a Project Management role
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and take responsibility
  • SMSTS / SSSTS or working towards (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
