Role & Responsibilities
- Assist senior estimators with electrical tenders and pricing
- Take off quantities from drawings and specifications
- Obtain prices from suppliers and subcontractors
- Help prepare tender submissions and supporting documents
- Learn estimating software and commercial processes
- Support the estimating team across multiple projects
Candidate Requirements
- Electrical background essential (site or office based)
- Some estimating or commercial experience preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn and progress within estimating
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident with Excel and basic IT systems
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds qualifications
- AM2 / HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering (advantageous, not essential)
