Job Title: Service Manager (Electrical)\\nLocation: Northampton HQ\\nSalary: £65,000 – £75,000 + Benefits\\n\\nMy client is seeking a dynamic and professional Electricl Service Manager with a strong existing client base to lead and expand our service department. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality services, managing teams, and driving business growth within the electrical services sector.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage the service department, including service engineers and a team of site engineers.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Oversee the QS electrical tester and ensure test reports are accurate and timely.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Lead and manage the apprenticeship programme, ensuring the growth and development of apprentices.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Recruit to meet service needs and drive company growth.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Review and improve systems, procedures, and H&S management systems.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Survey, design, and quote clients' needs promptly.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Negotiate terms with clients and set up customer accounts.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Handover secured works to the service team to ensure seamless delivery.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Monitor and ensure all works are executed to the highest standard, in line with SEC MEP protocols.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Manage budgets, turnover, and profits to achieve annual targets.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Conduct bi-annual appraisals for the team.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strategically plan for growth, aiming for a 30% year-on-year increase.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Take accountability for executive decisions and be part of the executive management team.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Demonstrate leadership, goals, and aspirations to progress towards becoming the Service Director.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Obtain necessary accreditations to secure framework and FM work packages.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Update company website and literature to reflect service offerings and achievements.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven experience in a service management role within the electrical services industry.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong leadership and team management skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Demonstrated ability to grow client relationships and manage existing accounts.\\n\\n * \\n\\n A keen eye for improving processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent communication and negotiation skills.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to survey, design, and quote accurately and efficiently.\\n\\n * \\n\\n H&S awareness and a commitment to high standards of service delivery.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience with apprenticeships and career development within a technical environment.\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive salary between £65,000 – £75,000\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hybrid/electric company car with fuel card\\n\\n * \\n\\n Mobile phone and laptop\\n\\n * \\n\\n Pension plan\\n\\n * \\n\\n 25 days holiday + statutory holidays
