The company specialises in commercial refurbishment projects across the UK, with the majority of work based in the Midlands. Project values are typically up to £2 million, covering sectors such as commercial offices, education, healthcare, and industrial refurbishments.
The Role
- You will be responsible for managing electrical packages from project award through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Managing multiple electrical projects from pre-construction to handover.
- Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Labour planning, programme management, and progress reporting.
- Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with H&S, quality, and technical standards.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal delivery teams.
- Ensuring projects are delivered to specification and client expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager (or Electrical Project Manager ready to step up).
- Strong background in commercial refurbishment projects.
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical building services.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- SMSTS / CSCS (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
