We are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established HVAC business. The role will involve carrying out planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, fault finding and repairs across a range of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. This is a field-based position offering a varied workload, excellent support and genuine long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive breakdown attendance
  • Fault diagnosis and repairs
  • Air conditioning and refrigeration servicing
  • Site surveys and condition assessments
  • Assisting with commissioning and handovers
  • Producing detailed service reports
  • Supporting junior engineers when required
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and F-Gas regulations

Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • F-Gas Category 1 Certification
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience
  • Experience working on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, heat pumps and chillers
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills

  • IOSH Managing Safely
