FM / HELPDESK COORDINATOR Location: Derby Salary: £30,000 Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Job Type: Full Time, Permanent We are currently looking for an experienced FM / Helpdesk Coordinator to join a busy Facilities Management team based in Allenton, Derby. The role will be responsible for coordinating engineers and subcontractors, booking in reactive and planned works, updating clients and ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales. Key Responsibilities * Logging reactive, planned and quoted works onto the CAFM system. * Scheduling and booking engineers and subcontractors onto jobs. * Managing engineers’ diaries and ensuring jobs are completed on time. * Monitoring job progress and ensuring SLAs are met. * Liaising directly with engineers regarding planned works and urgent reactive call-outs. * Communicating with clients and providing regular updates on job progress. * Managing incoming emails and responding to client queries and chases. * Chasing suppliers and subcontractors where required. * Updating client systems and ensuring all job information is kept accurate. * Collating and uploading relevant paperwork and job completion documents. * Assisting with overdue reports and helping to drive outstanding jobs through to completion. * Providing general administrative support to the FM team. About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience within Facilities Management, Helpdesk, Service Coordination, Engineering Coordination or a similar environment. You will need to be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable managing multiple jobs and engineers at the same time. Key requirements: * Previous administration and/or Facilities Management experience. * Experience scheduling or coordinating engineers would be highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Strong organisational and time management skills. * Ability to work under pressure and prioritise a busy workload. * Good customer service skills. * Confident dealing with engineers, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. * A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
