A well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their delivery team.The business delivers commercial and industrial building services projects across the Midlands, working on a mix of refurbishments and new-build schemes, with project values typically ranging from £500k to £5m.
The Role
- You will be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical packages from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, and within budget.
- Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction to completion
- Planning programmes, labour, and procurement
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Managing cost control, variations, and progress reporting
- Ensuring compliance with H&S, quality, and technical standards
- Attending client and site meetings and managing key stakeholders
- Supporting commissioning, snagging, and handover
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services
- Background delivering commercial and/or industrial projects
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- SMSTS / CSCS (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
