A well-established, family-run Electrical contractor is looking to appoint a Junior Electrical Project Manager to support the delivery of projects across the Midlands.
This role is ideal for someone looking to step up from a Supervisor, Site Manager, or Assistant Project Manager position and develop a long-term career in electrical project management. Projects include commercial and retail refurbishments, working with an experienced management team who will provide training and support.
The Role:
You will work alongside Senior Project and Contracts Managers, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the management of electrical projects from pre-start through to completion
- Assisting with programme planning, labour coordination, and procurement
- Attending site meetings and liaising with clients, main contractors, and suppliers
- Monitoring progress, quality, and health & safety on site
- Supporting variations, valuations, and project reporting
- Assisting with handover, testing, and final documentation
Requirements:
- Background in electrical installation or site management
- Experience on commercial and/or retail projects
- Keen to progress into a Project Management role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility
- SMSTS / SSSTS or working towards (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
