Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Hairstylist role based in London. The Hairstylist will provide a range of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments tailored to each client’s hair type and preferences. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients, recommending styles and products, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation at all stations and tools. The role involves maintaining detailed appointment schedules, managing back-to-back bookings, and collaborating with the salon team to create a positive client experience. The Hairstylist will also support retail product recommendations and contribute to the overall presentation and atmosphere of the salon.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care, with the ability to work with diverse hair types and styles.
- Formal training or certification in Cosmetology, with up-to-date knowledge of safety, hygiene, and industry standards.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment, including time management and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new techniques, attend trainings, and stay informed about current hair trends and products.
- Prior salon experience and familiarity with booking systems or point-of-sale tools are advantageous.
