We’re working with a premium consumer brand at an exciting early stage of its direct-to-consumer journey. With a strong product, loyal customer response, and solid operational foundations already in place, the business is now entering its next phase. Focusing on refining performance, understanding its ideal customer, and building a scalable growth engine. This is not about rapid scaling for the sake of it. The priority is getting the fundamentals right. Identifying the right audiences, improving conversion, and creating a consistent, data-led approach to growth.
As an Ecommerce Manager, you’ll play a central role in this journey. You’ll take full ownership of day-to-day digital performance, bringing structure to trading, clarity to decision-making, and momentum to testing and optimisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, executing campaigns, analysing results, and continuously improving performance.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership as a trusted partner, helping to reduce noise, focus on what works, and build confidence in the channels and tactics that will drive future growth. Over time, you’ll move from testing and learning into shaping a more defined, scalable acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Own trading performance: Run weekly performance reviews, identify priorities, and drive actions
- Improve conversion: Optimise the Shopify site, diagnose drop-offs, and implement practical CRO improvements
- Run paid media: Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns (Meta, Google etc.) with a focus on testing and learning
- Lead email marketing: Build and optimise flows, segmentation, and campaigns to support conversion and retention
- Drive acquisition: Test audiences, messaging, and offers to identify the most effective growth levers
- Embed test & learn: Create a consistent experimentation rhythm and turn insights into clear next steps
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with brand and operations to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Proven hands-on experience in D2C e-commerce or digital marketing
- Thrives in early-stage or fast-moving environments
- Strong paid media execution experience (not just managing agencies)
- Experience with email platforms and lifecycle marketing
- Good working knowledge of Shopify and conversion rate optimisation
- Comfortable analysing performance data and making commercial decisions
- Real ownership of performance, not just oversight
- Opportunity to shape growth in an early-stage D2C business
- Test, learn, and build something from the ground up
- High visibility role with direct impact on commercial outcomes
