We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to deliver engaging entry level - L2 ESOL and Functional Skills entry level lessons within a supportive education environment.

The Role

As an ESOL Teacher, you'll plan and deliver engaging lessons from Pre-Entry to Level 2 ESOL, alongside Entry Level Functional Skills, creating an inclusive learning environment where learners feel supported, challenged and motivated.

Working closely with colleagues, you'll contribute to a positive culture of learning, monitor learner progress and adapt your teaching to help every individual achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging ESOL lessons from Pre-Entry to Level 2.
  • Support the delivery of Entry Level Functional Skills
  • Plan, prepare and deliver creative, learner-centred lessons.
  • Develop schemes of work and learning resources.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet individual learner needs.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records and set meaningful learning targets.
  • Promote high standards of attendance, behaviour and learner engagement.
  • Build positive relationships with learners, parents, carers and external partners.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider education team.
  • Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion across the provision.

You'll have

  • A recognised teaching qualification
