Do you enjoy helping young people achieve their potential? Are you passionate about building relationships with schools, employers and local communities?
We're looking for a proactive Student Engagement Officer to recruit and support learners, helping them progress into further education, apprenticeships and employment.
This is a varied role where you'll work closely with learners, referral partners and employers to create opportunities, secure work placements and provide ongoing support throughout the learner journey.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Recruit learners onto vocational programmes and manage enrolments.
- Build relationships with schools, Local Authorities, NEET teams and referral partners.
- Support learners through regular reviews, guidance and progression planning.
- Develop employer partnerships and source meaningful work placements.
- Monitor learner engagement, attendance and outcomes.
- Work with teaching staff, parents and external agencies to provide effective learner support.
- Maintain accurate learner records and reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in education, employability, youth work, careers advice or vocational training.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for motivating and supporting young people.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and learner management systems.
- Level 2 English and Maths.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
