Base pay range

We offer a remote working policy for all employees, albeit some UK travel will be required for training, events and periodically scheduled company meetings.
This role is a full-time home-based role, with typical working hours expected between 9am and 5.30pm, although we do like to finish a little earlier on Fridays at 5pm.

❓ ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The Business Development Manager (International Marinas) is responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and securing new clients in the Europe marina sector, leveraging Microsoft Dynamics-based solutions. The role involves end-to-end sales management, relationship building, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and satisfaction.
📋 OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
- Identify and target potential clients within the European marina sector
- Understand the unique needs and challenges of each client and propose tailored Microsoft Dynamics-based solutions to address those needs
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry
- Manage end to end sales cycle from initial lead generation to final presentation and signing of contracts with support of the nominated pre sales consultant
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our Microsoft Dynamics-based solutions, keeping up-to-date with product updates and industry trends
- Use the approved standard pricing sheet/system
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and quotas.
- Engage with the marketing team and supporting their campaigns and follow up lead activity
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospects
- Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and quotations for potential clients
- Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts to close deals effectively
- Regular update all internal systems in a timely manner
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitors, and emerging trends
- Collaborate with the implementation and support teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation
- Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Several years of successful sales in B2B technology, with expertise in the marina industry
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP/CRM systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for sales
- Experience of technologies in SaaS
- Access to a vehicle and the willingness to travel as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- A professional attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- An ability to be self-motivated and driven to achieve professional goals
- The ability to work on your own initiative without supervision whilst contributing and participating to the team
- Ability to manage workload and time according to SLA’s
- Good attention to detail and investigation skills
