Elite Cooling Services is a professional industrial/commercial refrigeration and air conditioning specialist based in Glasgow, Scotland. We strive to consistently deliver high-quality designs and skilled installation to retailers, restaurants, offices, data centres, food production and food distribution companies up and down the country. Our workforce specialises in the supply, installation and repair of a variety of industrial/commercial refrigeration equipment including large freezer/fridge stores, water/glycol chillers, varying sized air conditioning systems.
Location: mobile (Scotland central belt)
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum based on experience.
Working hours: 39-hour week
Duration: Permanent
Role:
- Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial/industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and chillers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing effective solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems and prevent costly breakdowns.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet clients' service requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues, proposed solutions, and offer expert advice on equipment maintenance and energy efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all tasks and operations.
- Keep up-to-date records of work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial/industrial Refrigeration Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Hold a Full UK driving licence.
- Proficient knowledge of various commercial refrigeration systems and their components.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles related to refrigeration equipment.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a professional demeanour when interacting with clients.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different client locations as required.
- Relevant certifications such as City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas) or equivalent are preferred.
