We have various companies looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for multidrop deliveries, delivering into London and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any faults to the Line Manager.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.
- Refuelling the vehicle.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy and only using it for business purposes.
- Assisting in loading assembled orders onto the vehicle, ensuring that the payload is within the limits for the vehicle and that the permissible axle weights are not exceeded, and that goods are safely loaded for delivery.
- Ensuring duties are carried out in compliance with the requirements of the Company Operators Licence.
- Completing all scheduled deliveries on time, in full on a daily basis (6-8 per day).
- Being polite and courteous to internal and external customers at all times.
Working hours are 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with possible weekends. Delivering chemicals/adblue. CPC and Digital Tachocard are essential. ADR Certificate is an advantage.
