Workshop Engineer – Heavy Plant & Equipment – Lutterworth

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Service repair and maintenance of heavy plant/construction equipment
  • Identify mechanical issues with the use of your technical knowledge and computerised systems within a workshop environment
  • Ensuring software updates are installed
  • Accurate completion of paperwork
  • Ordering and returning parts

Experience required:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering or HGV maintenance
  • Have extensive mechanical experience
  • Have a comprehensive understand hydraulics and electronics
  • Can work to a high standard of competence, independently
  • Practical repair and maintenance experience on heavy construction plant
  • Proven technical competence on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and electronics
  • Ideally welding, fabrication and line boring experience
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence
