A major dealership specialising in Heavy Plant are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide specialised technical support and guidance on Articulated and Rigid Haulers.

Role: Technical Support Specialist

Area: Cambridge or Midlands

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + benefits

The requirements of the Technical Support Specialist will be:

  • Managing aftermarket product quality issues of Articulated and Rigid Haulers
  • Overseeing technical applications for product lines and assisting in fault diagnosis activities
  • Maintaining an efficient technical help desk
  • Compiling evidence to drive quality improvements and service fixes
  • Contributing to new product introductions and analysis
  • Conducting site and customer visits for technical support

The ideal candidate for Technical Support Specialist will be:

  • Hold a recognised Apprenticeship NVQ 3 or equivalent in Construction Equipment or an Engineering based field
  • Experience in a similar technical role in the heavy plant industry
  • Technical engineering background and high levels of knowledge within the Construction Industry, ideally on Articulated and Rigid Haulers
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Have good computer literacy
