Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor / Parts Controller to join an established service and repair company based in Wiltshire.

As Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day parts operation, ensuring engineers and customers receive the correct parts efficiently and within agreed timescales.
This is a varied role, combining parts sales, stock control, purchasing, administration and customer service.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Identifying and sourcing parts for all related machinery.
- Managing the day-to-day parts operation and responding to parts enquiries.
- Ordering parts and monitoring deliveries to ensure they arrive within required timescales.
- Providing parts support to engineers, the workshop, customers and internal departments.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring stock levels are appropriately managed.
- Preparing quotations and processing parts sales orders.
- Dealing with customer and supplier queries professionally and promptly.
- Maintaining accurate records of parts, orders, costs and supplier information.
- Supporting regular stock checks and stocktaking activities.
- Ensuring all parts-related administration is completed accurately.
Requirements of Role
- Ideally have previous experience within a
Parts Advisor, Parts Controller, Parts Coordinator or Parts Sales position.
- Have experience working within the construction equipment, plant hire, agricultural, automotive, HGV / commercial vehicle, material handling, or a similar engineering environment.
- Comfortable dealing with customers, suppliers and engineers.
- Confident user of IT systems
