Location: Northwest England, Northeast England & Scotland

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Basic, Plus Incentivising Commission, Company Car, Phone, Laptop, Death in Service, Private Healthcare, Company Pension Scheme, Full Product Training.

We are working with a recognised construction rental company, known for providing lifting solutions to major construction, infrastructure, and energy projects. With a strong European backing, the business partners with some of the industry's most respected organisations to deliver lifting projects with precision.

We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Sales Manager to expand their presence across Northern England & Scotland. This is a role suited to a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering measurable growth. You'll be empowered to take ownership of your region and build long-lasting partnerships with key clients.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Identifying and securing new crane hire and sales opportunities across target regions
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to expand market share
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to spot growth opportunities
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Representing the business at industry events and networking opportunities

Requirements of Role:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development within construction rental sectors
  • Previous experience working within the Crane Hire, Plant Hire, Powered Access industries
  • Proven sales background selling the construction industry
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
  • Hold a UK driving licence
