We’re recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established, family-run business operating within the specialist machinery sector. This is a field-based role covering customer sites across the UK, offering plenty of overtime, specialist training, and genuine progression opportunities for the right person.

This opportunity would suit someone from a background such as heavy plant, HGV, agricultural, recycling equipment, specialist vehicles, ex-forces, or similar heavy machinery environments.

The Role
  • Service, maintain and repair specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK
  • Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and pump systems, with some basic electrical work involved
  • Carry out planned servicing, reactive breakdown support and general fault-finding
  • Represent the business professionally on customer sites
  • Travel regularly as part of a field-based engineering role
What We’re Looking For
  • Good understanding of heavy machinery
  • Strong mechanical mindset with experience fault-finding and repairing equipment
  • Comfortable in a field-based position with regular travel
  • Good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Someone who comes across well and fits into a close-knit team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Engineers at an earlier stage in their career will also be considered, provided they have the right attitude, solid foundations, and are keen to develop.
