Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair heavy construction and plant equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical expertise
- Carry out breakdown repairs and routine maintenance efficiently and safely
- Identify additional service and repair opportunities while on customer sites
- Complete electronic job reports, timesheets, and service documentation accurately and in real time
- Install software updates and support equipment optimisation
- Provide customers with technical support and maintain high service standards
- Attend manufacturer and product training courses when required
- Participate in overtime and call-out rotas where necessary
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Plant Maintenance, HGV, or Agricultural Engineering
- Proven experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, construction, or agricultural equipment
- Good understanding of modern diagnostic systems and computer-based service tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
