Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and repair heavy construction and plant equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical expertise
  • Carry out breakdown repairs and routine maintenance efficiently and safely
  • Identify additional service and repair opportunities while on customer sites
  • Complete electronic job reports, timesheets, and service documentation accurately and in real time
  • Install software updates and support equipment optimisation
  • Provide customers with technical support and maintain high service standards
  • Attend manufacturer and product training courses when required
  • Participate in overtime and call-out rotas where necessary

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Plant Maintenance, HGV, or Agricultural Engineering
  • Proven experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, construction, or agricultural equipment
  • Good understanding of modern diagnostic systems and computer-based service tools
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
