A major global OEM within the construction plant and heavy equipment space is looking to appoint an After Sales Manager for its Biggleswade operation.
This role is crucial to the site and requires someone with strong technical knowledge (ideally an ex-engineer) and proven management experience within aftersales/service. This is a senior aftersales leadership position, responsible for ensuring the service operation runs efficiently and to a high standard.
The position is fully office-based and will suit someone who can manage people, process and performance — while still having the technical credibility to handle escalations and support the wider team.
- Leading and developing the aftersales/service function on site
- Supporting technical escalations and ensuring issues are driven through to resolution
- Driving service standards, KPIs, reporting and continuous improvement
- Maintaining strong customer communication and stakeholder management
Background as an engineer or strong technical exposure within construction plant / heavy machinery / heavy equipment.
Proven management experience within service/aftersales (people leadership essential).
Comfortable owning service performance, priorities, and escalations.
Full UK driving licence.
Salary up to £62,000 (depending on experience) + Company car + benefits. 40 hours per week. Fully office-based role (Biggleswade). A long-term opportunity within a structured OEM environment.
