We are currently supporting a leading manufacturer within the construction equipment sector with the appointment of an Area Sales Manager to cover a Scotland territory. This is a field-based sales role, taking ownership of an established patch across Scotland, managing existing customer relationships while also developing new business opportunities across construction, civils, plant hire, infrastructure, waste management, agriculture and wider heavy equipment markets.

The role would suit someone with experience in:

  • Plant / construction equipment sales
  • Earthmoving machinery
  • Heavy machinery / capital equipment
  • Agricultural machinery
  • Waste management equipment
  • Machinery hire / dealer sales
  • Technical B2B equipment sales

You’ll need to be comfortable with longer sales cycles, high-value equipment sales, territory management, account development and new business generation.

Package includes:

  • c. £40,000 basic salary
  • c. £59,000 guaranteed first-year package
  • Company car
  • Bonus / commission structure
  • Benefits and ongoing development
