Elite Construction Talent are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK compliance specialist for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their growing team covering York and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Risk Assessor looking to join a well-established business that offers genuine career progression, ongoing training and long-term job security.
The Role
Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, healthcare, educational and public sector sites, you will be responsible for carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments and supporting clients with their water hygiene compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
- Producing detailed and accurate risk assessment reports.
- Creating schematic drawings of domestic hot and cold water systems.
- Carrying out compliance audits and reviewing site logbooks.
- Supporting water sampling, temperature monitoring and associated compliance activities.
- Identifying remedial actions and making practical recommendations.
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing professional technical advice.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements
To be considered you should ideally have:
- Previous experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.
- Good knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance.
- Experience producing schematic drawings and technical reports.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout the region with occasional UK-wide travel.
