We are recruiting for a Water Hygiene / Legionella Technician to join a growing compliance team, with the opportunity to develop into a Remedial Plumber. This is a field-based role covering Hertfordshire and surrounding areas, carrying out a mix of water hygiene and basic plumbing works in line with ACoP L8 standards.
Key Duties
- Water hygiene tasks including temperature monitoring, sampling, and system flushing
- TMV servicing and maintenance
- Tank cleans, disinfection, and chlorination works
- Basic plumbing and remedial works
- Cleaning and descaling outlets and showerheads
- Identifying risks and ensuring compliance with Legionella regulations
- Completing reports and liaising with clients
Requirements
- Experience in water hygiene / Legionella / plumbing / maintenance
- Ideally City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2+ in Plumbing
- Knowledge of TMVs, disinfection, or water systems
- Full UK driving licence
