Are you an experienced Passive Fire Engineer looking to join a growing specialist contractor working on a diverse range of commercial, healthcare, education and public sector projects across the UK? Our client is a well-established compliance and building services specialist delivering high-quality passive fire protection works nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Passive Fire Engineer to join their expanding team.
The Role
- Carry out passive fire surveys and inspections.
- Install and remediate fire stopping systems.
- Inspect fire doors, fire dampers, cavity barriers and compartmentation.
- Identify and record non-compliances.
- Produce accurate digital reports using field-based software.
- Photograph and document defects.
- Interpret fire test certification and manufacturer guidance.
- Liaise professionally with clients on site.
- Work independently across multiple sites nationwide.
- Ensure all work complies with current legislation and company standards.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience within passive fire protection.
- Strong understanding of compartmentation and fire stopping.
- Experience carrying out remedial installations.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- FIRAS accreditation desirable.
- IPAF advantageous.
