We are recruiting for a Remedial Plumber to join a growing water hygiene and compliance business covering Brighton and the surrounding area. This is a varied, field-based role involving remedial plumbing works, water hygiene duties and daily travel to customer sites. The successful candidate will receive full role-specific training and ongoing support.

The Role

  • Completing remedial plumbing repairs to ensure water systems remain compliant
  • Installing, repairing and maintaining pipework, tanks, valves and associated fittings
  • Carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring
  • Flushing water systems and outlets
  • Cleaning and descaling showerheads and other fixtures
  • Travelling to different customer sites each day
  • Completing accurate job sheets and compliance records
  • Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives
  • Working in accordance with ACoP L8 and health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing qualification or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous plumbing or remedial maintenance experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to follow procedures and work safely

Previous experience within water hygiene, legionella control or compliance services would be beneficial but is not essential, as additional training will be provided.
