We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team. The role involves the safe and efficient collection and delivery of goods to customer sites and distribution centres. Duties and Responsibilities * Driving Class 1 (Category C+E) articulated vehicles. * Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects. * Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time. * Completing all required delivery paperwork accurately. * Following drivers' hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations. * Securing loads correctly and safely. * Loading and unloading where required. * Maintaining regular communication with the transport office. * Providing a professional and courteous service to customers. * Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable. * Following all company health and safety procedures. Requirements * Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence. * Valid Driver CPC. * Valid Digital Tachograph Card. * Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations. * Good knowledge of UK roads. * Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred. * Good communication skills. * Reliable, punctual and professional. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
