Senior Residential Support Worker, Children's Home\\nLeicester\\n£27,040 + £50 per sleep-in\\nI am looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to support children and young people in a small fantastic residential home for children and young people in Leicester.\\nIn this Senior role you will:\\n * Be responsible for providing day to day care for children and young people\\n * Work as part of a dedicated, ensuring that care teams are maintaining their therapeutic approach and providing direct work with the children\\n * Lead shifts and manage a staff team\\n * Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters\\n * Ensure the home is kept to a good standard, including cooking and cleaning and of course safeguarding welfare at all times\\n * Support the business, clinical and social development of the service\\nTo be successful in this Senior role you will need:\\n * NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)\\n * A minimum of 2 Years’ experience In residential care\\n * Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours\\n * Experience of leading shifts\\n * Experience of supervising care staff\\n * The ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends and statutory holidays\\n * A full UK Manual driving licence\\nFor more information, please call Elite Care on (phone number removed)
