We are seeking a commercially driven and inspirational Business Manager to lead a flagship beauty counter within a fast-paced travel retail environment. Representing a globally recognised brand, you will be responsible for driving performance, elevating service standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience to an international audience. This role is highly hands-on and customer-facing, requiring strong leadership, energy on the shop floor, and a passion for artistry and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of makeup artists and sales advisors, creating a high-performance and service-led culture
- Drive sales across all KPIs including ATV, UPT, conversion, and daily/weekly targets
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, leading by example through customer engagement and makeup artistry services
- Deliver personalised consultations, adapting approach to suit a diverse, international clientele
- Build and nurture a strong clienteling culture, capturing customer data and encouraging repeat business
- Analyse trading performance and implement strategies to maximise sales opportunities in a high-footfall environment
- Ensure exceptional standards across visual merchandising, stock management, and operations
- Plan and execute in-store events, animations, and product launches to drive engagement and footfall
- Manage rotas, staffing, and daily operations in line with trading demands
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and airport partners to optimise performance and visibility
About You
- Proven experience in a beauty retail management role, ideally within luxury or travel retail
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering against targets
- Passionate about makeup artistry, skincare, and delivering exceptional service
- A confident and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Skilled in coaching, developing teams, and driving performance through clear direction and feedback
- Experienced in working with high volumes of customers and maintaining service standards under pressure
