Beauty Retail Supervisor - Lifestyle and Beauty Brand - Department store

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Beauty Retail Supervisor to join a growing beauty business focused on clean lifestyle, skincare and make-up .

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded beauty professional who loves leading people, delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating a high-performing retail environment.

About the Role

As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager and leading the team to achieve commercial and customer service excellence. You will be a hands-on leader, inspiring your team on the shop floor while ensuring every customer receives a personalised and memorable experience.

You will have a genuine passion for beauty, skincare and make-up , with the confidence to educate customers on products, routines and application techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and inspire the team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Act as a role model for exceptional customer service , setting high standards across the team.
• Deliver a personalised customer experience through strong product knowledge, consultation and relationship building.
• Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store and wider retail operation.
• Coach and develop team members to improve their product knowledge, selling skills and overall performance.
• Monitor KPIs and commercial performance, using results to identify opportunities and drive sales.
• Be highly visible and hands-on on the shop floor, leading by example.
• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business and loyalty.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of skincare, make-up and clean beauty products.
• Confidently deliver product demonstrations, consultations and make-up application where required.
• Support with visual merchandising, stock management, replenishment and operational standards.
• Assist with rotas, opening and closing procedures and other store administration.
• Support the delivery of new product launches, events and in-store activations.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative and high-energy team culture.
• Ensure company standards, policies and procedures are consistently followed.

About You

• 2-3+ years' experience within beauty retail , ideally across skincare, make-up and/or clean beauty.
• Previous experience in a Leadership position with responsibility for leading others.
• Bringing the brand to life through elegant story telling
• A confident and inspirational leader who enjoys developing and motivating a team.
• Strong commercial awareness with a genuine focus on achieving sales and KPI targets.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Passionate about beauty, skincare, make-up and the wider clean lifestyle space.
• Strong product knowledge with the confidence to educate and advise customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands‑on, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Naturally curious and commercially driven, with the ability to spot opportunities and convert them into sales.
• A positive team player who leads from the front and creates an engaging customer experience.
• Thrives in fast paste environments
