Job Description Elite have partnered with a luxury fashion brand to support on the hire of a Procurement Manager to join the team. Position Overview: The Procurement Manager will play a key role in managing the procurement process. This position will oversee the strategic sourcing, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, inventory management, and cost optimisation for the brand. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement within the luxury or high-end retail sector, with a strong ability to balance quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Key Responsibilities: Lead the sourcing strategy for high-quality, luxury products across multiple categories. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers. Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers to ensure product excellence and competitiveness. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (merchandising, finance, operations) to develop annual procurement plans aligned with business goals. Monitor inventory levels and forecast future demand to optimize stock availability and minimize overstock or stockouts. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring the best terms in pricing, delivery, and quality. Manage budgets for procurement spend and ensure adherence to financial targets. Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and adhere to industry regulations. Work closely with the quality assurance team to resolve any quality-related issues with suppliers. Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., merchandising, marketing, logistics, and finance) to ensure timely product availability for retail stores and e-commerce. Provide guidance and support in product assortment planning, ensuring the right product mix is available at the right time. Stay informed of market trends, economic conditions, and competitor activity to ensure competitive pricing and product offerings.
