We are partnering with an international luxury fashion house to appoint a Store Director for one of its most strategic global locations, situated within a world-renowned luxury department store in London, making it one of the most commercially important locations worldwide. The Store Director will oversee a multi-category concession spanning womenswear, accessories, and menswear. Operating within a dynamic department store environment, the role requires a commercially driven leader who can combine strong people management with strategic relationship-building across the wider store.
Commercial Leadership
- Drive the performance of one of the brand’s most important global locations, delivering strong and consistent sales results.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships while continuing to attract new high-value clientele.
- Ensure all product categories perform to their full potential through strong commercial focus and team engagement.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 20+, creating a high-performance and service-led culture.
- Provide structure, coaching, and leadership development to strengthen the management team autonomy and impact.
- Maintain exceptional luxury service standards aligned with the expectations of a top-tier international department store.
- Support the team in building strong relationships with VIC and international clients.
- Drive clienteling initiatives to strengthen retention and long-term loyalty.
Internal Relationship Management
- Act as a key ambassador for the brand within the department store, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across buying, retail leadership, and operations.
- Successfully navigate a highly competitive concession environment to maintain strong visibility and influence for the brand.
- Maintain exceptional visual merchandising, stock management, and store presentation standards.
Significant leadership experience within luxury fashion retail, ideally within a flagship or department store concession environment. Proven experience managing large teams and developing management-level talent. Strong commercial mindset with the ability to drive performance in high-volume luxury retail. Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders within complex retail environments. Experience working within a major international department store is highly advantageous.
