We are recruiting an experienced and commercially driven Assistant Store Manager for a fast-paced, high-volume flagship store in a prime London location. This is a senior ASM position, ideal for someone who is either already operating at a very strong Assistant Store Manager level or who is close to stepping up into a Store Manager role in the near future.
The store trades at high turnover, with constant footfall and a team of approximately 10 people. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving performance, leading from the front on the shop floor, and supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of people, commercial, and operational leadership.
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy, high-volume flagship store
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of around 10, setting clear expectations around service, sales, and standards
- Drive commercial performance through strong floor leadership, KPI management, and trading analysis
- Act as a key decision-maker in the Store Manager’s absence, confidently running the business end-to-end
- Coach and develop supervisors and senior sales associates, building a strong internal pipeline
- Ensure exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, pressure-driven environment
- Maintain high standards across visual merchandising, stock control, and store operations
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of the team

- Experience working in high-footfall, high-volume retail environments
- Comfortable managing teams of circa 10 people in a commercial setting
- Highly confident on the shop floor, leading by example and driving energy and pace
