Elite Associates have partnered with a beautiful contemporary fashion brand, to support the team in finding an experienced Health & Safety Manager. The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety policies and programs across all areas of the business. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a safe working environment throughout the retail stores and Head Office.
- Policy Development: Create, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for employees at all levels, ensuring awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and present health and safety reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, operations, and facilities management, to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in health and safety, recommending improvements to policies and procedures as needed.
