Elite 360 Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company for an experienced CNC Miller/Turner to join their growing machine shop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Operator or CNC Programmer looking to work within a modern precision engineering environment, manufacturing high-quality components for a range of industries.
The Role
You'll be responsible for setting, operating and, where required, programming CNC milling machines to manufacture precision-engineered components. Working from engineering drawings, you'll ensure products are produced accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines.
- Program CNC machines where required.
- Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.
- Carry out machine set-ups, tooling changes and offsets.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment.
- Ensure work meets quality and customer specifications.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Work closely with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines.

- Experience setting tooling, offsets and machining precision components.
- Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling and tolerances.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment to inspect finished components.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A positive, reliable and proactive approach.
Desirable
- CNC programming experience.
- Experience machining large or complex components.
- Manual machining experience.
- Previous experience within precision engineering, heavy engineering or general manufacturing.
