Engineering Tutor
to deliver Level 3 engineering training, primarily through
classroom-based theory teaching, supported by practical elements . This opportunity would suit an experienced tutor or an industry professional looking to move into education. The Role Youll deliver training across three essential subject areas: Advanced Milling Advanced Turning Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programming and Machining Youll explain technical concepts clearly, assess progress and provide constructive feedback to help learners achieve their qualifications. The ability to deliver any of the following would also be beneficial: Engineering Inspection and Quality Control Engineering Maintenance Procedures and Techniques Communications for Engineering Technicians About You Strong industry knowledge and experience in milling, turning, and CNC programming and machining. A relevant Level 3 or higher engineering qualification. The ability to explain engineering theory clearly and connect it to practical applications. GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above. A genuine interest in developing learners and maintaining high standards. A Level 3 teaching qualification and assessor award, such as TAQA/CAVA, would be advantageous. Training is available for suitable candidates who do not yet hold these qualifications. Whats on Offer £36,000£38,000 per year, with salary dependent on whether you hold at least a Level 3 teaching qualification and assessor award. Permanent, full-time employment. Company pension.
