Vehicle Technician This very stable and profitable national organisation is recruiting for Vehicle Technicians in Swindon. The positions are working in their fleet workshop on a range of vehicles, with ongoing training on new vehicle technologies, generous pension and holidays and a shorter than average working week. The role: * Service, maintain, prepare for MOT, and repair a fleet of mixed commercial vehicles * Build your product knowledge of a variety of makes and models of vans and cars through to HGVs (optional) * Diagnose faults using manufacturer and generic electronic diagnosis equipment * Complete all repair work in-house where possible, using the full range of your technical skills * This position is based in Swindon with free staff parking on site. The Vehicle Technician should: * Be a fully qualified mechanic or HGV technician with NVQ level 3, IMI advanced level apprenticeship, City and Guilds level 2, or equivalent qualifications. * Have good experience of working as a vehicle technician on a range of vans and cars OR as an HGV mechanic. * Have a full driving licence, we are especially interested in speaking to candidates with an HGV licence, but a standard car licence is fine too.
