We are looking for an experienced HGV driver to cover a busy multi-drop route delivering to our Hospitality customers across the Greater London area. The role reports to our site in Merton, SW London.
Job Details
- Location: Merton, SW London
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week, 6 on 2 off shift pattern (6am & 2pm start)
Responsibilities
- Cover a busy multi-drop route delivering to Hospitality customers across Greater London.
- Operate delivery vehicle and load/unload linen cages.
- Use handheld delivery & navigation device (GLAD), in‑cab telematics (Webfleet) and DVS equipment.
- Adhere to tachograph compliance.
- Participate in in‑house driver assessment.
- Work flexible shifts and routes, including additional shifts as required.
Qualifications
- CAT C License (required).
- Driver CPC (required).
- Clean driving license preferred.
- One year of CAT C driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass in‑house driver assessment.
- Experience with tachograph compliance.
- Comfortable with using GLAD and in‑cab telematics.
- Physical ability to deliver and collect cages of linen and handle bag work.
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude and hard‑working approach.
- Flexible shift availability, able to change shifts or routes with notice.
